Six controlled stages, from raw steel to 1000-hour protection

STAGE 01

Chemical Pre-Treatment

Alkaline & solvent cleaning, rinsing and controlled drying strip oils and residues — and rule out hydrogen embrittlement on high-strength fasteners.

STAGE 02

Mechanical Pre-Treatment

Table, hanger, tumble and sand shot-blasting activate the surface for superior adhesion, matched to each component's geometry.

STAGE 03

Coating Application

GEOMET® zinc flake applied by spray, rack or bulk dip-spin and dip-drain — a uniform 8–12 µm film of overlapping zinc-aluminium flakes.

STAGE 04

Curing — 200–320 °C

Thermal curing bonds the lamellar layers into a hard, stable, sacrificial barrier with full corrosion and thermal resistance.

STAGE 05

Final Inspection

100% visual and analytical inspection — XRF thickness, adhesion, curing and friction checks — with every compliant lot barcode trace-tagged.

STAGE 06

Testing & QA

In-house XRF, optical microscopy, salt spray and CoF testing validate every batch to ISO 10683, ASTM B117 and ISO 9227.
